Students can compete in the Xcel and/or JO program. Students in both programs receive same quality coaching for competitions from the experienced coaches with judge qualification. Please see below and JO/Xcel page for the differences between the programs.
Xcel Team (Open to everyone)
- Practice: Tuesday 5:30-7:00 pm only
- For students who want to compete but also want to do other activities
- Open to all students who regularly attend the class. No advanced skills or talent required
- Routines will be judged only on the declared achievable elements of individuals
- Awards will be on individual achievements, not on placements against other gymnasts. All gymnasts will be awarded.
- Only floor routines for 2017-2018 season. No apparatus.
- Local competitions, including the one at Georgia World Congress Center
- If interested, contact the director and register for Xcel at the office
JO Team (Invitation only)
- Practice: 4 days/week (~30 hours/month) in the gym. Stretching and practice at home are also expected.
- For students who will devote time and effort to become competitive and have appropriate parent support mentally and financially
- Only invited students with appropriate skills and behavior for practicing to become a competitive gymnast
- Routines will be choreographed to satisfy the requirement in the code of points
- Gymnasts can be awarded only by achieving placements against other competitors
- Local and travel competitions everywhere
- Advanced gymnasts may represent Rhythmic Brains

- April, Regional Championships or Invitational – Travel (JO only)
- May 5, Spring Fling (performance), Ultimate Gymnastics
- June, National Qualifier (Level 9/10)
- July 3-8, National Championships (Level 10 Elite), if qualified
